When renting a motorbike, customers are required to leave a security deposit for each vehicle. This deposit serves as a guarantee for both the customer and the rental shop during the rental period. It will be handled as follows:
- Vehicle returned in normal condition
If the bike is returned without any new damage, the full deposit will be refunded immediately at the end of the rental. - Vehicle damaged due to an accident or a fall
- If the customer has purchased a Damage Waiver, the full deposit will still be refunded because repair costs are covered by the waiver. (What is Damage Waiver?)
- If the customer has not purchased a Damage Waiver, repair costs (based on the actual quotation from the repair service) will be deducted from the deposit.
Loss or damage of accessories
If accessories such as helmets, phone holders, etc. are lost or damaged, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the deposit according to the prices stated in the rental contract.
