We require a pre-deposit equivalent to 100 USD to confirm the booking of 1 bike. This pre-deposit is non-refundable, we will lock the bike for your dates and not accept other booking requests. In case of cancellation this pre-deposit is not refunded, so we can compensate the loss of other booking requests we refused.

For the case of booking requests with Da Nang or Hanoi as the starting cities, the pre-deposit is 200 USD. The pre-deposit works as a cancellation fee. If the customer cancels the booking, we will lose the cost of shipping two ways. Hence, this pre-deposit amount secures our cost of transport in case of a cancellation.

The pre-deposit is credited to the total rental. For rentals with values lower than 100 USD, we then only charge the rental value.

1 pre-deposit is only valid for 1 bike. It is non interchangeable nor it can be credited to another customer. For example, in a group of several bikes, if 2 people cancel or wish to change to another bike that was not booked, then the first pre-deposits for those 2 bikes are lost.

When renting a motorbike, customers are required to leave a security deposit for each vehicle. This deposit serves as a guarantee for both the customer and the rental shop during the rental period. It will be handled as follows:

Vehicle returned in normal condition
If the bike is returned without any new damage, the full deposit will be refunded immediately at the end of the rental.
Vehicle damaged due to an accident or a fall
- If the customer has purchased a Damage Waiver, the full deposit will still be refunded because repair costs are covered by the waiver. (What is Damage Waiver?)
- If the customer has not purchased a Damage Waiver, repair costs (based on the actual quotation from the repair service) will be deducted from the deposit.

Loss or damage of accessories
If accessories such as helmets, phone holders, etc. are lost or damaged, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the deposit according to the prices stated in the rental contract.

We refund 50% of the remaining period of time. This 50% is not calculated as half of the rental nor per the average daily price paid. We will count the number of unused days and the equivalent rental value based on our pricing table. This follows an algorithm.

If the remaining day is only 1, a reimbursment does not apply. From 2 days up, we reimburse 50% of the unused rental value following our pricing algorithm.

Hence, returning the bike 3 days earlier, will result in a 1.5 days refund.

Returning the bike 6 days earlier, will result in a 3 days refund, and so on.

All our services are VAT inclusive. You may request VAT invoices to be used for Vietnamese companies only. If you require a VAT invoice for a company not established in Vietnam, we can still issue it but you will not be able to use it to reduce expenses in your country.

We have 2 types of payments: the rental and the security deposit. The rental is a charge, while the security deposit is kept and paid back to the customer upon finishing the rental. The security deposit will be charged for extra days, loss of accessories and/or damage of the bike and accessories. Please, check the capacities and restrictions of each method carefully.

For card payments online charges are in GBP, EUR, or USD. Other currencies will be converted to GBP. We charge a 3% processing fee for USD payments.

At the office, we use our POS machine for card payments, this receives physical cards and NFC taps. These are payments in VND. We charge a 3% processing fee for payments VND.

Online payments may be facilitated through our online payment page. It can take both the deposit and the rental, follow these instructions:

Select the currency. Be mindful that for USD we require a 3% surcharge.
Input your email for us to track your payment.
Input the security deposit amount. This is a pre-authorization hold and not a charge. This transaction is cancelled after the rental ends.
Input the charge amount which corresponds to the rental fee, damage waiver and optional add-ons.
Kindly write your name and bike in notes.
Click on “Pay”. Stripe will take you through 2 transactions, one for the deposit and one for the charge.

There is no processing fee for credit card holds (pre-authorization), unless we need to charge the deposit.
