The police may stop you for an infraction, an administrative check (documents) or for an alcohol test. In case of an infraction, request proof of the infraction and then only provide your documents to the police. In an administrative check, you must provide the copy of registration as well as your licence (if the bike requires a licence to be driven), the rental contract could be needed as supporting documents for the copy of registration since the originals are normally required.
