Who this tour is for
Dong Nai Loop has a wide variety of terrains, exits, entrances are available all most everywhere. It can be really goofy and relaxing, it can be painfully challenging. You can be a long time returning rider who is looking for something casual but still has the option to spice up the difficulty or a new rider with little experience trying to gain some new an valuable skills, all are welcome. It is very doable on Honda XR 150 (80% of the trails) and Honda CRF150L should be able to 100% the trails with the right rider.
Tour Itinerary
Sài Gòn to Ba Rịa and back
Difficulty: It ranges, take it easy or go hard is up to you.
Our goal with this tour is to have fun in the dirt, mud, sand and even rock climbs and descents. Try out every different type of riding surfaces if you’re new or to challenge yourself if you have the skills.
The departure time is from 5am to 6am. Allowing us to come back around 3pm and skip most of the heavy traffic.
Late departure from 8am to 9am is also possible, though this means getting stuck in some traffic in and out of Saigon, and the return is estimated right before sunset, if lucky!
- Start at The Extra Mile
- The plan is to hit the dirt right when there’s enough daylight, around 6AM.
Through-out the day:
- Start off with mud and sand (could be soft could be wet depends on the season). Get soaked here!
- Moving past 51 Highway straight into the rubber tree plantations. Ride till you’re dry there!
- Gravel, tarmac and mixed conditions to go a little faster or to practice your skills.
- 11AM Local Lunch break provided by us
- More gravel and sand with rocky situations here and there after lunch. Enduro option for the daring at 1:30PM.
3PM or 5PM:
- Back at The Extra Mile
- Drop off your bikes and we’ll handle the rest.
