This day covers Đồng Nai - Lâm Đồng Provinces
We will leave Saigon eastward, hitting off-road paths within an hour. We’ll only briefly cross the highway to explore rubber plantations and enjoy nature along small paved and red dirt roads, perfect for photos. There’s an optional off-road challenge, but if not, we’ll continue onto the scenic 55th highway for the afternoon. As we reach Bảo Lộc town via winding backroads, we’ll be treated to stunning green vistas. Our overnight stay in Bảo Lộc will be at a charming hilltop villa.

Starting from Bảo Lộc, we will visit minority ethnic villages with stunning valley views, then proceed to the Tà Đung road for expansive lake and hill panoramas. Lunch by the lake offers a picturesque setting. Continuing northward, we navigate backroads with optional off-road challenges. As we near our destination, we’ll traverse long paved routes through vast rice fields and hills. The day ends in Buôn Ma Thuột with a delightful dinner of ethnic minority cuisine, perfect for a well-deserved rest after a day of adventure.

This day covers Đắk Lắk - Gia Lai Provinces
Departing from the renowned city of Buôn Ma Thuột, we venture onto the backroads, traveling northeast towards Gia Lai province. Today’s route mainly follows well-paved roads, passing through some of the least populated areas of the highlands. This perfectly complements our destination, located in a remote area with only one notable accommodation option where we’ll spend the night. The ride features long stretches of excellently paved roads, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains throughout our journey.

Get ready for a ride that’s sure to become a favorite! Brace yourself as we journey through rustic villages bordered by rivers on one side and layers of rice fields on the other, with majestic mountains on the horizon. The landscape offers an extraordinary visual feast.
Prepare for breathtaking mountain passes that reveal stunning vistas. Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of Vietnam’s farming lifestyle, with opportunities for refreshing swims in freshwater along the way. This journey holds the potential to create cherished memories of Vietnam! At day’s end, we have two distinct destinations in mind. We may unwind at a beach house nestled along the shore of a bohemian town adorned with tasteful street art, or head directly to Hội An to extend our stay and enjoy the UNESCO Heritage town to the fullest.

Today’s itinerary offers flexibility in riding distances, catering to the preferences of our riders. At the very least, we’ll make our way directly to Hội An to savor the UNESCO heritage old town. However, for those craving more adventure, there’s the option of embarking on a 150-kilometer backroads loop during the day. By arriving in Hội An around lunchtime, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to unwind in the afternoon and fully immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the night market later in the evening. This adaptable plan ensures a delightful experience tailored to everyone’s varied preferences.
This day covers Quảng Nam - Huế Provinces
We explore two fascinating provinces teeming with cultural richness. Our journey commences with the Sơn Trà peninsula to the east, offering panoramic views of the entire city. We then venture onto the renowned Hai Van Pass, making several stops to soak in the breathtaking scenery. Transitioning to backroads, we make our way to Huế City, exploring impressive cemeteries on white sand with traditional tombs, some dating back to Imperial times.
Navigating a network of backroads nestled amidst rice fields, we make a brief stop at a millenary Japanese bridge before reaching the city. In Huế, we savor local delicacies and spend the night at a significant colonial hotel dating back to 1901. For an additional fee, guests may even have the opportunity to stay in the suite frequented by Charlie Chaplin!

We start with a visit of the vast surroundings of the largest Imperial Tomb. After this enriching visit, relish an early lunch before embarking on our journey westward, heading towards the Laos border and the renowned Ho Chi Minh Trail. Wind through charming villages far from the hustle of urban life. Once on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, savor the liberty of navigating open, meandering roads. As the sun sets, pay a visit to the historic Khe Sanh combat base, marking the location of the Vietnam War’s most intense battle.

We embark on the Ho Chi Minh Trail from early morning, tracing the Laos border closely and soaking in breathtaking views of intersecting mountain ranges spanning both countries. Expect a picturesque journey, with an optional light off-road section for those seeking elevated vantage points of the valley. By mid-afternoon, if not earlier, we arrive at our destination in Phong Nha.
Our highly acclaimed overnight stay awaits at a charming farmstay nestled amidst rice fields in Phong Nha, renowned among bikers for its tranquil ambiance and natural setting. Featuring amenities such as a swimming pool, sauna, small gym, and on-demand massage services, it offers the ideal opportunity to rejuvenate our bodies while immersing ourselves in the stunning natural surroundings.

Embark on an unforgettable 80-kilometer loop today, exploring one of the most captivating provinces adorned with limestone mountain ranges, dense vertical forests, and a complex cave system. A highlight awaits at the enchanting Paradise Cave, an experience cherished by all. Witness a fascinating piece of history as we encounter an old runway from the war, now transformed into a highway.
For lunch, we pause at the Victory Villas by the river, once utilized for French attacks prior to the Vietnam War. Upon returning to the farmstay, take a moment to relax, savor a delightful dinner, and prepare for a restful night, gearing up for the longest day ahead.

Our adventure concludes in lively Hanoi with a satisfying lunch, reflecting on the diverse landscapes and cultural encounters, making it an unforgettable experience.

This tour may be as short as 10 days and as long as 14 days with all the optional routes and rest days:
- Day 2 Optional Route: break day-2 in two days: (see description above: here). Normally, Day 2 is from Bao Loc to Buon Ma Thuot. But, for some riders it’s too much, so we offer the option to break it in 2 days, adding one extra day.
- Day 4: rest day in Hội An UNESCO Heritage: (see description above: here).

- Day 9: break day-9 in two days for more UNESCO Historical Heritage: (see description above: here).
