This tour is for riders of all levels. 5 days is a reasonable amount of time to cruise along this route, beginners can take it easy and experienced riders can enjoy some extra trails. The daily distances are not very long, hence this tour is suitable for people wanting to enjoy a part of the afternoon relaxing at the destination.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - 150km

Saigon to Bến Tre - The long backroads and ferries way

We leave Saigon behind as we traverse farmlands and scenic backroads. Our route, free from the typical tourist trails, unveils the authentic daily life of Mekong farmers. Enjoy delectable organic meals for both lunch and dinner, leaving a lasting impression on all guests. The day concludes with a stay at a premium, clean homestay nestled in a beautiful garden boasting incredibly diverse vegetation, providing a tranquil retreat amid the Mekong’s natural charm.

Day 2 - 80km

Bến Tre to Cái Bè - The riverside day

This leisurely day unfolds, allowing us to seamlessly blend with the local lifestyle and relish picturesque moments. Morning takes us through farmlands, immersing us in the area’s burgeoning vegetation. The riverside route reveals glimpses of riverbank boat life and culminates at one of the Mekong River’s largest junctions—a truly impressive sight. By lunchtime, our journey leads us to an island retreat, inviting opportunities for relaxation in the pool or on a hammock.

A 2-hour island tour unveils the fertile landscapes, providing insights into local Mekong agricultural and fishing cultures. The day concludes at a charming and rustic homestay where a delightful dinner awaits, ensuring a serene night amid the tranquil Mekong surroundings.

Day 3 - 150km

Cái Bè - Cao Lãnh - The boat ride day, and the largest rice market you will see in a lifetime.

We start on a boat adventure, exploring the distinctive natural floating market of the Mekong Delta—an authentic haven of diverse products, free from commercial tourism. Our journey proceeds to an industrial rice market, offering valuable insights into the Vietnamese economy. Discover the cultural heritage at a renowned old house, home to some of the country’s oldest and most valuable wood.

As the afternoon unfolds, navigate picturesque paved backroads, meandering through vibrant landscapes. Witness farmlands managed by local prisoners, contributing to the unique fabric of the region. Our day culminates in Cao Lãnh, where you’ll dine and rest at the compound preserving the house of Ho Chi Minh’s father—a historical retreat offering a glimpse into Vietnam’s rich heritage.

Day 4 - 200km

Cao Lãnh to Hà Tiên - From the green hills to the beach

We have a slightly longer ride today as we journey toward the captivating coast. Traverse backroads and immerse ourselves in the untouched nature of the underrated town of Tri Tôn, surrounded by incredible greenery and imposing mountains.

Discover a secret cave, hidden from general tourism, adding a touch of exclusivity to our adventure. The final stretch takes us seaside, reaching the charming town of Hà Tiên, where a comfortable hotel awaits, setting the stage for our anticipated ferry ride the next day.

Day 5 - 80-150km

The Phú Quốc island adventure

We take a ferry in the morning for 3 hours to reach the island of Phú Quốc. Once on the island we visit a few key points, the most scenic beaches, some jungle offroad trails and we finish with a late lunch at a popular expat spot for some comfort food and to end the tour.

This tour ends in Phú Quốc from where the bikes will be shipped back. Customers need to make their reservations in hotels, for which we can advise or assist. Customers will be provided with a taxi to their accommodations after dropping the bikes at the shipping facility.
