This day covers Đồng Nai - Lâm Đồng Provinces


We will exit Saigon toward the east and hit the offroad sections within 1 hour from the start. We will only cross the highway to head into rubber plantations and lots of nature among small paved roads and occasional red dirt roads, just perfect for pictures. We have an optional offroad challenge that may be opted out of and then we head onto the 55th highway for the afternoon. The 55th highway is recognized for how scenic it is. We arrive to Bảo Lộc town through winding backroads that offer several viewspots of an amazing greenery. We stay in Bảo Lộc for the night in a beautiful villa on top of the hill.

Standard Itinerary


Starting from Bảo Lộc, we will visit minority ethnic villages with stunning valley views, then proceed to the Tà Đung road for expansive lake and hill panoramas. Lunch by the lake offers a picturesque setting. Continuing northward, we navigate backroads with optional off-road challenges. As we near our destination, we’ll traverse long paved routes through vast rice fields and hills. The day ends in Buôn Ma Thuột with a delightful dinner of ethnic minority cuisine, perfect for a well-deserved rest after a day of adventure.

Day 2 of our typical itinerary requires considerable energy and stamina, featuring challenging off-road sections and narrow backroads. For those seeking a more relaxed pace or wanting extra time for photos and relaxation, we highly recommend opting for an additional day. During this optional extension, we’ll spend an afternoon and night at a picturesque wooden villa nestled in a valley beside a tranquil stream. The natural beauty of this province is extraordinary, making it an unforgettable destination. On the following day we catch up with the regular Day 3’s afternoon.

Leaving the renowned city of Buôn Ma Thuột, we take to the backroads, heading northeast towards Gia Lai province. Today’s journey predominantly unfolds on well-paved roads, traversing some of the least densely populated parts of the highlands. This aligns seamlessly with our destination situated in the middle of nowhere, boasting only one decent accommodation option, which serves as our overnight stay. The ride offers extended stretches on excellently paved roads, providing unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains throughout the journey.

Tour continues into 6th day:

Instead of Hội An, we direct our course to Đà Nẵng to savor traditional food. Following the culinary delights, we tackle the renowned Hai Van Pass, offering breathtaking views of the city below, and, in some seasons, above the clouds. Riding through Huế’s backroads, we pass cemeteries built on sand, vast rice fields, and vibrant religious buildings, providing a new and captivating scenery compared to the previous days. The night is spent in Huế at a luxurious colonial hotel dating back to 1901, accompanied by a delectable meal featuring local delicacies.

Tour finishes on Day 5:

On the last day of our tour, we embark on a fantastic 150-kilometer loop through Quảng Nam province, exploring backroads, serene lakes, and winding small lakeside roads. The towns we traverse echo the bohemian ambiance experienced in the charming town of the previous night. Our journey leads us to the UNESCO-recognized Heritage village of Hội An, where a delightful lunch amid rice fields awaits. We then head to Đà Nẵng, riding along the beach road to conclude the tour.

This day covers Huế - Quảng Trị Provinces


In the morning, we dedicate time to visit the expansive grounds of the largest Imperial Tomb. Following this visit, we set our course westward towards the Laos border and the iconic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Our ride leads us through quaint villages, far removed from urbanization. Upon reaching the Ho Chi Minh Trail, we revel in the freedom of open and perfectly meandering roads. As the day draws to a close, we visit the Khe Sanh combat base, the site of the bloodiest battle of the Vietnam War.

This day covers Quảng Trị - Quàng Bình Provinces


We head on the Ho Chi Minh Trail from early morning. Driving in close proximity to the Laos border, we revel in incredible views of overlapping mountain ranges spanning both countries. Anticipate a scenic ride, featuring an optional light offroad section, elevating us to the best vantage points of the valley. By mid-afternoon, if not earlier, we reach our destination in Phong Nha.

Our accommodation for the night is at a highly regarded farmstay in Phong Nha, renowned among bikers for its charming ambiance and its location amidst nature. The 7-day tour concludes here, offering customers the option to extend their stay in Phong Nha for further exploration of the caves or other adventure activities. Alternatively, for those opting for a full country crossing, the journey continues, providing flexibility for individual preferences.
