Who this tour is for
This tour is for experienced ADV riders. The ride is mostly paved with occasional offroad sections. We get into traffic and some urbanizations that require good attention and skills from each rider. The ride is doable in XR 150, but skills and good control are required.

Đà Nẵng to Huế - The scenic seaview

We explore two fascinating provinces teeming with cultural richness. Our journey commences with the Sơn Trà peninsula to the east, offering panoramic views of the entire city. We then venture onto the renowned Hai Van Pass, making several stops to soak in the breathtaking scenery. Transitioning to backroads, we make our way to Huế City, exploring impressive cemeteries on white sand with traditional tombs, some dating back to Imperial times.
Navigating a network of backroads nestled amidst rice fields, we make a brief stop at a millenary Japanese bridge before reaching the city. In Huế, we savor local delicacies and spend the night at a significant colonial hotel dating back to 1901. For an additional fee, guests may even have the opportunity to stay in the suite frequented by Charlie Chaplin!
Huế to Khê Sanh - From old history to Vietnam's war history

We start with a visit of the vast surroundings of the largest Imperial Tomb. After this enriching visit, relish an early lunch before embarking on our journey westward, heading towards the Laos border and the renowned Ho Chi Minh Trail. Wind through charming villages far from the hustle of urban life. Once on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, savor the liberty of navigating open, meandering roads. As the sun sets, pay a visit to the historic Khe Sanh combat base, marking the location of the Vietnam War’s most intense battle.

Embark on the Ho Chi Minh Trail early in the morning, tracing the path close to the Laos border. Marvel at breathtaking views across overlapping mountain ranges that extend across both countries. Enjoy a picturesque journey, with the option of a light offroad section, providing elevated views of the valley. Setting out from Phong Nha, we resume our journey along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, where the road unfolds into fast, flat, and straight highways. Amidst this scenic expedition, we make a detour to explore the native village of Ho Chi Minh, gaining insights into the historical and cultural roots of the region. Venturing further, we delve into the enchanting backroad farmland territory, immersing ourselves in the rustic charm of the Vietnamese countryside.The first capital of Vietnam
Embarking from Hoang Mai, our route meanders through a network of multiple backroads, some offering the thrill of narrow passages. Our destination for the afternoon and evening is the breathtaking Ninh Binh. Here, we have the chance to immerse ourselves in the allure of the “Halong Bay on Land,” renowned for its limestone hills nestled between lakes and dirt roads. This enchanting landscape invites exploration for hours, unveiling authentic and ancient villages with colorful houses lining narrow roads along rivers.The Northern Highlands
This day is about savoring the journey with minimal riding but maximum enjoyment! We retrace our route from Ninh Binh back into Thanh Hóa’s province. Delight in the picturesque landscapes, featuring expansive farmlands and vast pineapple fields set against the backdrop of majestic mountains. Embrace the adventure as we navigate through a small hidden mountain pass in a military area, adding an element of intrigue to our day.Route to Hanoi

Exiting Pu Luong, our journey unfolds through exhilarating and elevated mountain passes, promising both excitement and stunning views. Our exploration takes us to villages perched atop the mountains, adorned with captivating limestone formations that add a touch of uniqueness to the landscape. Navigating through various backroads, we traverse scenic settings, encountering villages that transport us to a Vietnam reminiscent of ancient times.
The final stretch of our adventure brings us to the vibrant city of Hanoi, where we conclude our tour with a well-deserved lunch.
